The evening I downloaded the MLB at bat 2009 app for my iPhone. It’s teh awesome. Not only can I listen to games [...]

(By the way, I’m using the word “loot” very loosely. I actually paid for everything pictured below.)
The Parker and Soto that look like 1985 Topps are actually 1985 Topps SUPER, [...]

Today I got a package from Tom S. of California, he sent me a patch card for free of Ron Dayne in his rookie season. At the time this card booked for over 100 bucks, now it’s a unlisted semi-star.
I want to send a thank you to Tom and I owe you one!

I said I was going to try this Topps Ser. 2 set after buying just two packs. But I decided to pick up three hobby packs at the card shop the other day. Here’s the break. I’m also working on a few trades, so I’ll post a want list soon enough.

Mariano Rivera’s Race To 500 Saves!!! Part 7
The Yankees haven’t needed the services of their closer for 3 straight games now. So Mariano Rivera sits and waits for his opportunity to collect save #498.
The only positive about this: He won’t be capturing save #500 against my Florida Marlins!!!

Now, as far as [...]

Around the time of Randy Johnson’s slow creep to 300 wins many analyst began speculating on the achievement. In the entire history of baseball, only 24 pitchers have reached 300 victories. Some believe that due to pitch counts and 5-man rotations, we may never again see a pitcher win 300 games.
Furthermore, only 16 pitchers have [...]

At one point or another, every collector has fantasized about one day working in the industry. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of trading card history and be involved with the production of today’s high tech baseball cards?
For one such collector, that dream became a reality in 2001 when Wayne was hired by The [...]
