New Additions to My Player Collections

As most of you know I am collecting the cards of former Texas Longhorn and current Texas Ranger Taylor Teagarden along with Longview Texas native Chris Davis who is also a Ranger. Most of my player collections involve and attempt to acquire every card issued of the player. I believe I will never be able to Touch’em All as there are way to many 1 of 1 cards not too mention I don’t have an unlimited budget. That said I am still going to try and get as close as I can.

Today I have the house to myself well, except for Bruizer, but he is just sleeping here beside me. My plan is to get a bunch of baseball card sorting done and get some scans done for blog posts. I have several stacks of 2010 Topps Baseball that I wanted to get put away first but I needed to rip open the Blaster I bought at Walmart first. I am kind of anxious to get another Topps Million out of there and of course see which Black Parallels were in there.

Browsing through a stack of 2010 Topps Baseball cards I came across a card that really stood out to me. The card was the Joe Mauer #150. I sat it aside and continued through the stack but I found myself glancing over at the Mauer and losing interest in the others. Even though I am not a big fan of the 2010 Topps design this card came close to perfection.
